Dr Raymond Stanton is a Urologist based in Wagga Wagga who manages a broad range of general urological issues. He has a special interest in prostate, bladder and renal cancers, as well as BPH/voiding dysfunction and renal tract calculi.
Dr Stanton has been responsible for introducing several advancements in the local urological service provide, including laser prostate surgery, transperineal prostate biopsies and a number of endourological advancements.Â
He has been a Senior Lecturer involved in education of medical students for University of New South Wales, Australian National University and University of Notre Dame. He is a Senior Lecturer at the University of Wollongong and at Charles Sturt University.
Dr Stanton operates at St Vincent's Private Community Hospital Griffith, Young District Hospital and several locations in Wagga Wagga including, Calvary Hospital, Riverina Day Surgery and Wagga Wagga Base Hospital. Dr Stanton also has a conjoint appointment at the Chris O'Brien Lifehouse in Sydney, where he offers advanced robotic procedures to patients. He has been a member of the Calvary Riverina Medical Advisory Committee since 2022, and Chair since 2024.
