Riverina Cancer Care Centre (RCCC) combines state-of-the-art technology with highly skilled staff, reflecting the exceptional standards in the centre's Radiotherapy and Medical Oncology services.
Since 2024, all RCCC private and public patients have had no out-of-pocket expenses when receiving cancer treatment at RCCC. This came after months of lobbying by Independent Member for Wagga Wagga, Dr Joe McGirr. Over 12,000 community members signed a petition demanding this change in cancer care policy, demonstrating the power a community can achieve when working together.
Riverina Cancer Care Community Trust continues to facilitate the community's fundraising efforts and assist with the maintenance and improvements of RCCC.

Mr Williams (Centre Managing Director), said the Centre's services have evolved to offer patients access to clinical trials which would normally require extended travel to Sydney or Melbourne.
"Historically, regional patients have always struggled to access clinical trials," he said. "We've made access a lot more streamlined through the establishment of what we call the Cancer Care Foundation."

Modern pod-style treatment spaces will offer patients more privacy and allow nurses to provide the best care possible.
Remodelling the chemotherapy unit will increase treatment spaces from 9 to 14 and offer space for family members to support their loved ones.
Patients will face an oversized window, providing natural views to calm and reduce chemo anxiety.
While patients are receiving treatment, volunteers can offer refreshments from the refreshment station.
The new Pharmacy will provide nurses with clinical support from a pharmacist and storage to help with administering medications.
Patients can order their medication from the pharmacy to save another trip into town.
Plenty of free onsite parking, drop off facilities available at the front door, wheelchairs available if required (notify reception).
Riverina Cancer Care Community Trust would like to acknowledge the Wiradjuri lands on which the Riverina Cancer Care Centre operates. We pay respect to the traditional owners and recognise that these lands have always been places of traditional healing and medicine.
